Paolo Monella, Muri, mulini e velieri: i nativi digitali in classe

On the opportunities provided by the digital revolution for school teaching. Apple iTunes tackled the challenge posed by music file sharing proactively, and won. As an example of a positive shift of attitude on the side of teachers, I propose that the philosophy and diigtal technologies of 'sharing' and 'social' be used as a teaching resource rather than as a challenge to react to. Examples include: online discussion on moderated fora, individual and class blogs, Wikipedia editing, collaborative commentaries on literary texts (e.g. Perseus), social networks.
