Paolo Monella, Adeguamento della codifica TEI a standard internazionali: analisi di prototipi
In this talk delivered at the national meeting of the ALIM project (Verona, September 26-27, 2014), I discussed possible strategies to migrate the Medieval Latin text archive ALIM (http://www.alim.dfll.univr.it/) to XML/TEI. The corpus is currently encoded in an HTML-based markup language, so the proposed passage from procedural to declarative markup poses remarkable practical challenges. Different strategies should be devised to migrate to XML/TEI the big number of texts already in the archive, and to encode new texts directly in XML/TEI.
