Paolo Monella, Un'ontologia della grafematica per la filologia digitale
Three examples of application of DH to classics: 1. the distributed edition, integrating LOD (Linked Open Data) and CTS (Canonical Text Services); 2. my recently created POGO (Philology-Oriented Graphematics Ontology, https://github.com/vedph/graphematics), modelling concepts such as Grapheme, Alphabeme, Allograph, Abbreviation, Ligature to foster technological interoperability between digital scholarly editions based on transcriptions of primary sources through a shared theoretical framework; 3. an example of application of distant reading techniques to the myth of Procne and Philomela in classical Latin literature.
